Stay Buddy Inc. (Headquarters: Kita-ku, Osaka; CEO: Shuhei Makiki), which specializes in transforming vacant properties into fully managed vacation rental facilities, opened two new-concept special zone minpaku (private lodging) rooms in July 2025 in the Tenma area—one of Osaka’s most beloved nightlife districts.
Located on the 3rd and 4th floors of a building just a 3-minute walk from JR Tenma Station, these spaces were renovated from what was originally a residential unit. The result is two distinct special zone minpaku facilities offering entirely different experiences: “WAHAHA,” a cheerful space for gathering with friends, and “HISOKA,” a hideaway retreat for time with someone special.
In a minpaku market dominated by inbound tourists, we created these spaces with the hope of also winning the hearts of domestic Japanese travelers. Despite sitting right in the heart of one of Osaka’s most popular bar districts, these facilities feature thorough soundproofing, offering a genuinely quiet hideaway experience. We’re here to support everyone’s trip to Osaka, whether you’re visiting from Japan or anywhere in the world.
■ Facility Concept & Features: 3rd Floor — “WAHAHA,” a Lively Space to Enjoy Together

Built around that idea, 3F “WAHAHA” accommodates up to 6 guests across two bedrooms—one with two double beds, and another with two single beds. The bright, all-white interior creates an inviting atmosphere, and the living room comes equipped with a projector, perfect for movie nights or watching the big game together.
It’s a space where you can truly experience the essence of what makes minpaku special—a large group coming together in one space to talk freely without a care in the world. Fully stocked with cookware and seasonings for trying your hand at Japanese cuisine, this space stays true to its concept as a place where friends and family can simply have fun together.
Facility Concept & Features: 4th Floor — “HISOKA,” a Hideaway for Time with Someone Special
“A quiet, undisturbed escape to spend with the one who matters most.”
Built around this concept, this is a luxurious space designed for two guests. We set out to turn the physical challenge of a 4th-floor unit with no elevator into an added benefit—”a hideaway made for adults.” The bedroom features a king-size bed ideal for couples.
A sleek, black-toned interior paired with moody indirect lighting sets the scene, while a large sofa and projector transform the living room into your own private theater. It’s a suite-like level of luxury, offered at a reasonable price.
